Mediation

Smith, Montgomery & Associates, P.C., comprised of lawyers and highly-trained staff and one of the leading law firms in Southwest Missouri, is a full service law firm with over 65 years of combined experience.

Mediation is a confidential, voluntary, informal opportunity to create a mutually acceptable agreement with the aid of a neutral, experienced mediator. Mediation can help you and the other party get over the emotional barriers to negotiation and help you fashion an agreement that meets the needs of both parties, especially where children are involved.

Our firm handles court appointed mediation and private mediation appointments. Topics from custody, child support, relocation, modification, parenting plans, paternity and child support are types of meditations we handle.

At Smith, Montgomery & Associates, our Family Law Team also works with M.A.R.C.H. Mediation Services (Mediation Achieving Results for Children), a mediation service for those parties who are not married or are already divorced. M.A.R.C.H. Mediation is a non-profit organization which offers four hours of mediation to the parties as well as assistance in finalizing the process through to a court order where necessary. You may request our firm to be assigned to your matter by calling M.A.R.C.H. Mediation at 1-800-595-9750, www.marchmediation.org.

Call Smith, Montgomery & Associates to arrange an appointment for mediation with one of our experienced Family Law attorneys. You can request the judge to appoint us as mediator in your case, or inquire about a free M.A.R.C.H. mediation appointment. If you would like to discuss your options, make an appointment for a free first visit with a member of our Family Law Team to find out how our representation can make a difference in your case. At that visit, we will give you a reasonable price to help you in the mediation process and put it in writing. You will know exactly what it will cost and exactly what services will be included. There will be no extra fees or hidden costs. When you decide to hire us, we can set you up on a payment plan, and we also accept VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS and DISCOVER for your convenience. You can be assured you will have a trained, experienced and respected member of our Family Law Team serving you fully and effectively.
